Before You Book

Frequently Asked Questions

What time do classes start and finish?
All classes start at 9am and run until approximately 5:30pm. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can get you kitted out and ready to go.
What should I wear?
Old clothes you don't mind getting dirty — natural fibres (cotton, wool) rather than synthetic materials like polyester. Sturdy boots are recommended. We provide aprons, safety glasses and all other PPE.
What should I bring?
Just a packed lunch and snacks for the day. We provide free tea, coffee and cold drinks throughout. Everything else — tools, materials and safety equipment — is provided.
Is there a minimum age?
Most classes are open to ages 16 and over. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also participating. Please get in touch if you have any questions about suitability.
Do I need any experience?
Absolutely none. All of our classes are designed to be accessible to complete beginners, while still being engaging for those with some experience. William and the team tailor instruction to each individual.
Where exactly is the forge?
Mile End Farm, Trevaughan, Carmarthen SA31 3QL — just one mile from Carmarthen town centre in the beautiful Welsh countryside. What3Words: ///stuck.shovels.descended. Parking is free on site.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 14 days notice for cancellations to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days can be moved to another available date. Please see our full terms and conditions for details.
