Book This Class

One of our most unique and historically rich classes. Arrowsmithing — the forging of arrowheads — was a dedicated medieval craft, as important to warfare and hunting as swordsmithing or armoursmithing. Over the course of the day you will forge a set of traditional broadhead arrowheads from high-carbon steel, learning the specific techniques used by historical arrowsmiths.

This class is particularly popular with re-enactors, archery enthusiasts and those with an interest in medieval history and craft. You will leave with a set of hand-forged arrowheads — socketed, filed and ready to be shafted. All skill levels are welcome; no forge experience is required.
