There is something deeply satisfying about making the tools that make other things. This class is for those who want to forge the essential tools of the blacksmith's trade — punches, chisels, drifts, hardies and hammers — using the same techniques that smiths have used for centuries to equip their own workshops.

By the end of the day you will have a set of hand-forged blacksmithing tools, heat-treated and ready to use at any future forge session. This class is an excellent follow-on from the Experience Day or knife making class, and is particularly popular with those who are setting up their own home forge or workshop.

Do I need forge experience?
No, though this class naturally suits those who have done a prior class and want to build on their skills. Complete beginners are equally welcome.
